1. Who We Are

AccelClose is a SaaS accounting automation platform operated by RES Consulting FL, LLC ("AccelClose," "we," "us," or "our"). Our platform helps accounting teams automate lease accounting, fixed asset depreciation, amortization schedules, and related month-end close work. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

By creating an account or using the Service at accelclose.com, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.

Financial schedule data: When you use AccelClose, you enter financial data to build accounting schedules — such as lease details, asset costs and useful lives, amortization schedules, and loan terms. This data is stored in your account and used solely to generate schedules and journal entries for your review.

Billing information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. AccelClose does not store your credit card number, card security code, or full billing address. Stripe provides us with a payment token and limited metadata (last 4 digits, card brand, expiration month/year) necessary to display your billing status.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, in order to improve the product and diagnose technical issues.

Technical data: We collect your IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and fraud prevention purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service, including building and displaying your accounting schedules and generating journal entry exports.
• Create and manage your account and subscription.
• Send transactional emails related to your account — such as signup confirmation, password resets, and billing receipts — via Resend.
• Process payments and manage subscription billing via Stripe.
• Respond to support requests and questions.
• Identify and fix bugs and improve product features based on usage patterns.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or financial data to any third party, ever. We do not use your financial schedule data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, which runs on PostgreSQL hosted in the United States on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher). We use Supabase row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure that each account's data is logically isolated and inaccessible to other users.

Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with industry-standard bcrypt password hashing. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available and recommended. Sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity.

While we implement these security measures, no system is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable MFA on your account.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

AccelClose uses a small number of third-party services to operate the platform. We do not share your financial schedule data with any of them.

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage. Your data lives here. Hosted on AWS in the US. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting and deployment for the AccelClose web application.Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe handles all card data and is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We share only your email address and subscription amount with Stripe.Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (signup confirmation, password resets, billing receipts). We share only your email address and the content of the specific transactional email being sent.Resend Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms that sell data, or data brokers.

6. Cookies

AccelClose uses session cookies only. These cookies are strictly necessary to keep you logged in while you use the Service. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies that monitor your behavior across other websites.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in to AccelClose.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and schedule data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible in read-only mode for 90 days. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems unless you have reactivated your account.

You may request early deletion at any time by emailing us at billing@accelclose.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your data:

• Access: You can view all data stored in your account by logging in to the Service at any time.
• Correction: You can update your name, email, and company name through your account settings.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing billing@accelclose.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request.
• Export: You can export your schedule data and journal entry CSV files at any time from within the application.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 9. Children's Privacy

AccelClose is a business accounting tool intended for use by professionals and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at billing@accelclose.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will send a notice to the email address on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
